I looked at one of my last results and I didn't get credits for a successful workunit. How is that possible? It's about: http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah/workunit.php?wuid=3060361 |

The validate status on your work unit says 'invalid.' Perhaps your results didn't match up with the results of others who crunched the same WU. Can someone elaborate on that? |

It is a little strange, your result shows invaled, I thought maybe the other two machines had simular operating systems but they are different The strainge one is listed as SunOS 5.8 which I think is a server type. I get my share of 0 credits too. |

Well, I guess they will send this workunit to one more computer then. In this way they can check which results are the really valid ones. |

When three successful results are received for a workunit they are compared and credits granted. If one of the three does not compare to the other two it is marked as invalid and no credit is awarded. This workunit will not be sent out again. Once again, it is the highest numbered result (_5) that got no credit. This has been discussed in another thread. |
