Hi!.

Me and my friend have some problems recently with openGL on his Linux BOX.
Software wich was using openGL was blacked out, not working, for example Quake 3 was not working.

We started to search for the cause of problem and we found out that The BOINC CLIENT is the cause of problems.

After starting boinc client for linux, openGL is started but not used for anything. (well it's used when someone starts the boincGUI).
It seems, that openGL can be only in one instance at a time on one BOX.

Can someone fix this problem? For example put an option to start or not start openGL with Boinc Client?
Something as text_only option with no GUI connections avaliable...

We were using X.org 6.7 on PLD Linux (Polish Linux Distribution) with kernel 2.6.8_mm4 (with patch to reiser4)

It's a pity when my friend has to kill boinc to use openGL with some other software...
