I'm trying to understand what the hell 'ESWL 2000' means regarding RWY strength... I understand the standard PCN rating perfectly fine.

Doing a Google search brings up nothing that helps me.

Specifically, I'm looking at CHC/NZCH operational data and the smaller gr SFC RWY 02/20 (not the primary 02/20 - ASDA/LDG 515 metres) has a strength rating of "ESWL 2000".

If anybody with lots of aviation knowledge is around... it'd be very helpful.

even if it is for a somewhat bigger craft.
