Since the upgrade to BOINC 4.12 and quickly to 4.13, I have not seen any dates for SETI work units except 01mr04, 04mr04, and today 03mr04. Previous to the big "upload failure" problem, I used to see quite a variety of dates. I'm running a P4 3.0 H/T, taking about 3.5 hours to do two WUs. Any other similar observations out there?

Just the random nature of how I select what tapes to put in the splitter queue. Sometimes they are all over the place date-wise. Sometimes I'm too lazy to check various calendars, so I pick a set within a short time span and throw them in the queue all together.

Hi Keith,

How do you manage to do 2 units in 3.5 hrs
My system used to do them in 3.5 hours but since the update to 4.05 its been nearer 5.5hours.
Im running a p4 3.0ghz with ht enabled/ 512ram and cached hd
Whats your secret? I would like to try it.

Best wishes

Sorry guys -- I guess I had a senior moment. I should have said 5.5 hours, same as you, Worm. It was running about 3.75 hours before the 'upgrade.'

You can also get a Macintosh! :)

My mac does them in 2:30 to 3:00 hours ... and with it being a dual processor, I can get two done at once (or one, with a cp.net model on the other CPU) ...

Now, if I only had a 2.5 GHz G5 .... :)
