I've had a machine or two running Seti/Boinc for a week or so, and I've built up a pile of results.

Once the results are uploaded, they show as pending for credits.

But there seems to be no logic as to when I get credited for a work unit. Some get credited almost immediately, whilst others take much longer.

Can anyone explain this ?

Thanks,

GTG

Dear GTG,

I'll try to make this simple.

It takes three hosts to crunch the same unit.

Each one turns in finished unit.

Units are compared to each other.

If units reach same result then credit is granted.

If only two host return result than credit is not
granted until third is returned.

so some are credited asap some have to wait..

Timmy
