Hi, All -

So my (and other BOINC admin) posts don't get lost in the message boards, I created a new
Technical News page. Enjoy.

I'll still lurk and post here occasionally, of course..

Nice! Don't forget to keep 'er regular. Eat lots of fiber if ya gotta.

EDIT: As of last modified date above 3 updates!
OK. Stop eating and take a break. Get some of the others to take up the slack later.

Nice one Matt, would it also be possible to leave a permanent link to it from the Front Page? This would save having to hunt around for it

Wonderful! Thanks Matt!

As for item #2, "The validator queue is growing again. This could be due to" ...
the fact that the validator server shows that it's not running!

We just had an unexpected crash of the new replica database while we trying to format it. Bad disks? Bad cables? Who knows? But we're going to abandon the replica database project for now.

Man, they just can't catch a break!

Matt: this is great! Now user's can choose to get more information (than the news page) and it should help the person that doesn't have the time to hunt through the message board for pertinent information.

Thanks!

The Tech News page is great.

Now if the guys can find out why v4.12 locks up on many of our systems.

I have the new release version installed on two of my WinXP systems. It installed right over v4.09 and has been running without any problems.

My third system is a different story. It is WinXP SP2, just like the other two but the gui hangs every time. I have installed over v4.09 and even did a uninstall with a fresh install but will hang no matter. The v4.12 gui shows using 50% and the 2 processes are using about 25% each. The v4.09 gui shows 0% with the 2 processes using 50% each just like it should.

The Tech Newspage is a VERY WELCOME idea. Many thanks for this one - this is good PR -

One remark : Please make a link to it in the column left of the frontpage, if possible.

Greetings from Belgium ;-))
