Hi Cliff, Could you give us a bit more to go on? What Boinc Manager are you running? I see you are running an older opt-app, you may need to upgrade that too. If you could post the first twenty lines from your Manager after restarting it would help too. PROUD MEMBER OF Team Starfire World BOINC |

6/5/2009 1:45:54 PM SETI@home Found app_info.xml; using anonymous platform He is already using optimized apps so he will need new optimized apps and a new app_info file. edit - approximately 200 work units need to be crunched from his cache, rebranded for the new apps or aborted. cliff........... Right now you are using the CPU's to crunch MB. Now you need to add an app_info file that would assign MB to the to the GPU and not the CPU. You could also at the same time begin crunching AstroPulse on the CPU just to keep them toasty. Since no Astropulse work is available at this time I would suggest you set "no new work" and crunch down your existing cache as is now defined. When empty then download the unified installer from lunatics and install it selecting MB Cuda for the GPU and Astropulse for the CPu's. Be sure Boinc is stopped when installing the unified installer software. Then whenever the servers have either kind of work you can download it and crunch it. This would probably be the easiest and best way at this time. Boinc....Boinc....Boinc....Boinc.... |
