I've had a very encouraging call from Bernard Walker. He attended a big meeting of 9 people from all sorts of the caring professions to sort out a full care programme for Whiskey. He is now receiving first class physiotherapy and has been able to stand and even shuffle forward a bit, taking Bernard by considerable surprise! He is still unable to speak but that is in the nature of a left side stroke.

So far none of our cards have actually reached him. See the Minicities thread for his current address. I do have Bernard's address at home and I could give that to anyone who PMs me in a few days' time when we are back home. It may be more reliable in the long run. However, cards etc sent from overseas will inevitably take longer.

This is good news so let's raise a glass:

Hi Moon, everybody.

That latte was perfect Miss Moon, you are an exceptional hostess.

So, how do you stop that lazy-susan from spinning? I can't manage to grab what I want before it spins out of reach! :-)

Thanks for the chocolate covered strawberries. Perfect for a nice spring day. Now if only these thunderstorms would go away so we can have a nice spring day...

As promised. A bottle of Scotch from the village where our young family lives. (Actually in sight of Doune Castle, where most of one of the greatest films of all time was shot).
