I have looked around a bit before posting this but I'm still confused.

1. This card is listed on nvidia website as being CUDA capable
2. BOINC happily finds it as CUDA device
3. I saw on other threads that 256MB ram on the card is required and I saw one person say it has less but on nvidia website it says up to 256MB and according to the drivers on this computer it has 512MB, which is odd. I don't know of a reliable way to be sure.

I only want to be using my GPU for this this project and it is not getting any CUDA workunits so clearly it is not happy. So anyone know if this should work or a good way to find out actually how much ram it does have.

My last card was an 8400 GS (not the M version) and it ran CUDA, albeit slowly.

Use GPU-Z and Cuda-Z to find out how much Ram your Card has.
Incidently your host page reports it as having 127Mb available,
My 8400M GS reports 128Mb and will run the Cuda app, but in CPU fallback mode only,
it runs very slow, much slower than the 6.03 app, let alone the AK_V8 app.
