Should it take over a week to have results validated?

In addition to some other machines which are racking up cobblestones (credits), I recently acquired a Blue&White G3, which is my 2nd/spare computer at home.

It has been chugging away for 9 days, has done around 30WU, and has successfully uploaded the results. (I know this all because my crontab is set to send boinc's output to a logfile.) Yet, still, after this much time, it has yet to be awarded any credit. Should it take this long to have the results validated?

Is there some extreme "lumpiness" to the flow of the validator? The server status page says that it is running.

Me too.
My Macs are crunching 4-6 Wu's per day. In 4 weeks i get only 69 cs.....

From the home page of the Seti site, on the news column, I found this (which seems to say that it was, as I suspected, a system-wide slowdown in credit-granting...
