The first post in the thread basically stated that the author of the thread wrote something to get a moderator or moderators to respond. It was only designed to create hate and discontent. That is wrong.

Several users have stated things that are to correct the intent of the first post. That is appreciated... But it does get personal... That is not entirely correct either.

A moderators job has never been easy. None of the moderators get paid for the abuse they monitor/take. They however are expected to be fair in applying the rules across the Forums. Everyone tries the best they can. If you feel that a moderator has something "personal" that they feel they have against you there is a recourse.

You only have to email Setiforums (at) ssl.berkeley.edu outlining the complaint. Then it will reach the person that will look and decide.

Otherwise your best hope it to email the moderators (The Red-x works) to look and protect you. While we are few, we read more "items" than you would every care to know about.
