	Hi, I have lost internet at home, however my machine gets the internet at least every 2 weeks (friends place/lan parties). how do i set seti to grab 2 weeks worth of data units to process before submittal? Also, on a side note, my pc freezes alot trying to connect to the internet with boinc to send results, if i end process boinc, pc doesnt freeze anymore.. any way to tell it to stop looking unless i tell it to ' do network communications? '. thanks ____________

	You can set it to grab up to 10 days' worth of work units for your machine. Click this link and then click Edit Preferences. Change the value of Maintain enough work for an additional x days to 10 and then click Update. Better is to set Connect Every X to 10 as this tells the CPU scheduler the computation deadlines have to be 10 days before the report deadlines. ____________ BOINC WIKI

'. thanks Yes, you should select Network activity suspended from the Activity menu in advanced view of BOINC Manager.
