I'm new at this as you can tell, but for the past week or so, Boinc has not been able to download any SETI work, and I've seen nothing on the seti website to indicate what the problem is or when it will be back up.

Nothing is wrong on the server end. Are you running other projects? Are you getting error messages in your Messages tab?

I'm running two other projects, Einstein and Climate Prediction along with Seti. Here's what I get every time I try to update SETI and get more work:

6/16/2008 12:45:56 PM|SETI@home|Sending scheduler request: Requested by user. Requesting 0 seconds of work, reporting 0 completed tasks
6/16/2008 12:46:02 PM|SETI@home|Scheduler request succeeded: got 0 new tasks
6/16/2008 3:09:34 PM|SETI@home|Sending scheduler request: Requested by user. Requesting 0 seconds of work, reporting 0 completed tasks
6/16/2008 3:09:40 PM|SETI@home|Scheduler request succeeded: got 0 new tasks

Do I not know something that I should? Please advise. SETI is my favorite program.

What are your resource shares for all projects?

My best guess at this point is that, since ClimatePrediction's workunits are some of the longest in all of BOINC, it may be a while before you see a SETI workunit until your computer finishes the CPDN that it currently has.

Resources for them are exactly 33.33% between the three of them.

Your resource shares may be the same, but you also have to figure in short term and long term debt. You may want to look into BoincLogX or BoincDV to see your debt situations. As been stated before, CPDN has long work units and can build up debt appropriately that needs to be paid back.

This link explains how Boinc uses a debt system to maintain your allocated project resource share while making sure work is returned by due date.

I've just restarted BOINC after being away from it for a while, and SETI is the only task I've attached (so it can't be this debt thing). I'm having precisely the same issue as the original poster, any ideas?

Thanks.
