Just being alive is spiritual for me.

I know the scientific and religious explanations of how I got here but neither help me understand the true nature of being alive.

The fact that any of us are alive is just amazing.

All I can say is that at my age, I have become increasingly aware of God's touch on my life.......
He has blessed me in so many ways, and confounded me in so many others........

If a thread is removed only the thread author is sent a notice. But you knew this *ahem* ...especially coming from a former mod.

I have misplaced my pants.

I don't recall seeing any of those notices. My time as a mod wasn't very long, and many things were implemented after I stopped. There were notices about posts being removed...but I don't recall that for entire threads ( unless it's just because I never removed an entire thread ).

I for one, came to know God....(my terminology, maybe not yours) rather late in life.......

I was a nasty one in my younger years......did many things that I would be ashamed to admit here........but as I have aged and mellowed, I have come to know that they were wrong, and have asked Him for His forgiveness, which I have no doubt He will grant......one has only to ask......

Those of you who do not believe, I shall forgive, as shall He...........

And those of you who have different beliefs........that is allright too.....
You go with what works for you, I shall not try to convert you to MY belief system..........

'Ashamed' and 'regretted' are just two different terms for things that you realize after the fact that you wish you had not done......
Yes.....everything you have done in your life cannot be changed or undone.....and they have all led you to what you are today......

BUT.....admitting to yourself that they were not good things makes you a better person......
And asking YOUR God (or other higher power, if you believe in one) makes you better still.........
