I have decided to join Rosetta recently. I am also Seti@ home member. The problem is that despite my allocation of resources (70-30 for Seti) Rosetta is working all the time. For the last year it has been like that. Seti barely worked while Rosetta was working all the time. I am forced to suspend Rosetta in order to get some work from Seti@home. Why is this happening and how can I fix it.
P.S. I don't think that the problem is caused by down time of Seti servers because when I suspend Rosetta work starts pouring in.

It has to do with resource debt. When you crunch for one project, it builds debt for the other (up to the resource allocation). By suspending a project, you are manually screwing up the debt calculation and causing more debt for Rosetta@Home, which will cause your system to only run Rosetta to pay that debt off.
I would suggest leaving BOINC alone for a few weeks to see if it balances out.

The problem is that I've joined Rosetta one year after I have joined Seti. Then I had like 5000 points for Seti and 0 for Rosetta. I gave Bonic free reign for one year, but it barely run Seti@home. It was only recently that I started suspending Rosetta.

Hmmm... a year is too long of a time to be a resource-balance issue. I know it was about a year ago they invalidated an optimized client. Are you using an optimized client for SETI@Home? (You'd know if you were, it has to be manually installed.)
If it's not an optimized client issue, then we would have to see some messages from your messages tab, preferably right after a restart of BOINC.

I notice your Orbit preferences are (none) while your SETI@Home and Rosetta preferences are Home (two different sets of preferences set up manually).
6.2.2008 18:35:50|rosetta@home|URL: http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/; Computer ID: 505908; location: home; project prefs: default
6.2.2008 18:35:50|orbit@home|URL: http://orbit.psi.edu/; Computer ID: 6357; location: (none); project prefs: default
6.2.2008 18:35:50|SETI@home|URL: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/; Computer ID: 3370465; location: home; project prefs: default
Are the SETI@Home preferences too restrictive?
Also, can you click on Projects in BOINC Manager, then click on SETI@Home, then click on the Update button? Then go back to the Messages tab and copy them here so I can see if there's any error messages being given.

6.2.2008 19:19:53|SETI@home|Sending scheduler request: Requested by user. Requesting 0 seconds of work, reporting 0 completed tasks
6.2.2008 19:19:58|SETI@home|Scheduler request succeeded: got 0 new tasks
Sometimes it says that server can't be found and things like that but this time everything worked perfectly apart from those 0s that annoy me. As for settings I haven't altered them in any way.
I have said that my computer is located at home but there are no special preferences for home. I have put 0 to orbit because I plan to take part in the project but it is not active at the moment.
