There are really two separate sections of the project that have made improvements in the sensitivity of the search we are doing. The first was the "Enhanced" application which was released quite a while back. This was done to allow us to search for ever weaker signals in the current linefeed data. Then there was a totally new "multibeam" receiver installed at Aricebo which is much more sensitive than the old "linefeed" receiver. This, in combination with the Enhanced science application (which has been rewritten to use the new "multibeam" signals) results in the increase in sensitivity of our current search. ____________ Jim Join GQFCrunchers Problems?
