Myself, I respected her for her attempts to get a universal health plan for the US...but she seems to provoke strong feelings.

I would be interested to know what is so good, or so bad about Hilary.

You mean other than being a Dumbocrat, remaining married to an adulterer and only the 3rd man in US history to face impeachment and trying to push a health care plan that will be paid for by the working man and utilized by those without real jobs?

He was the second; back to school for you.
One the other hand, there has been a whole laundry list of federal judges impeached.

Maybe you should learn to READ before commenting on the education of others.

I did not say the 3rd to BE impeached, I said the 3rd to FACE impeachment.

typical...

I have two things against Ms. Clinton.

1) Why does this country seem stuck on Bush'es and Clinton's. I think we need to pick from a wider pool than just two families. I pray that the Democrats pick someone else or I will vote 3rd party or just sit this one out.

2) She is a warmonger just like Bush. The Democrats need to get on the other side of the Iraq issue. My #1 issue for my vote is a person's stand on staying in Iraq. I want us to get out of there. Though that doesn't seem likely since we are building permenant bases there.

So I really hope that Clinton tanks in the primaries. Got my fingers crossed on that one.

Listening to a Ron Paul speech brought to light one more thing I don't like about Ms. Clinton.

Rupert Murdoch is supporting her.

I'm voting Mike Huckabee.

Here's a candidate calculator to help you determine if someone you've never heard of might be better for you.

Good thing especially for those here on the boards from other countries, like me ;)

I've tried both, honest answers to see who's best imho:
Ohio Representative Dennis Kucinich (D) - 86.57% match
Former Alaska Senator Mike Gravel (D) - 76.12%
New York Senator Hillary Clinton (D) - 71.64%
Illinois Senator Barack Obama (D) - 69.40%

and giving the opposing answer to my personal view (to get my worst nightmare):
California Representative Duncan Hunter (R) - 100.00% match
Colorado Representative Tom Tancredo (R) - 85.29%
Former Tennessee Senator Fred Thompson (R) - 85.29%
Arizona Senator John McCain (R) - 79.41%

How much chances have my choices to be elected?
As far as I get the information over here in "old Europe" the main concern in election campains in the USA is not content but money, who can grab the most campain funds, not who's got the best programm.

Yeah, other than that.

Hate to burst your bubble, but Barack has about as much of a chance as Hillary

You must be a pretty good person in my humble opinion. Kucinich is a politician who is for the "people". Unfortunately he is not a pretty boy and therefore can never be elected. Also, like you mention, the big money/business interests rule the USA. Anyone for the people will be deemed as anti big business. No one anti business will make it through the existiing political machine to be president. :(

The same goes for the Governor of the state of New Mexico, Bill Richardson, who I think would make a fine president.

Wow, that calculator looks interesting.

Es99, good luck. I guess Hilary is just the better of two evils. In the end you vote corporate America either way...

Influence of money on elections should be minimized, but the question is how.

But your batting average for 'predicting the future' has fallen well into the single digit category... ;)

I don't have to vote corporate America at all. I live in the UK. We get corporate America what ever we do.

Your comment of bursting my bubble implies your assumption that I'm voting for Obama, which I am not. I've already stated elsewhere my candidate is Fred Thompson. Back to you.

Will wonders never cease...

I like the guy too, but I don't think I can cast my vote for an entertainer.

Reagan and Arnold were entertainers too.

To young to vote for Reagan, don't live in Cali AND Arnold isn't a natural born citizen.
