	whats the problem with you people? i've been having difficulties getting new work from your site since i've joined on. should i just detach from seti? seems like someone isnt doing a very good job ____________

	Well, it is certainly true that there have been periods without work recently. The SETI@home project runs on a shoestring budget with limited staff and a mixture of old and donated hardware, so these things are bound to happen occasionally. That said, it has to be pointed out that no project can guarantee 100% uptime and work availability, as it just isn't possible to do so. Unfortunately, you've just had the misfortune to have joined during a particularly difficult spell. To cover for the 'dry spells' many SETI participants sign up to a second project (or even several). Some even contribute in more positive ways, such as by making a donation towards SaHs meagre funds. Be patient and the work will eventually come.

	What the heck is happening with downloads from seti? I have not had any new tasks since August! We never had these problems when we were using the old system before boinc was introduced. ____________

	What the heck is happening with downloads from seti? I have not had any new tasks since August! We never had these problems when we were using the old system before boinc was introduced. The old system would, under the same circumstances, keep doing repeat work as busy work. You should have gotten something since August.
