What is the difference between total credit and average recent credit, and how are they derived?? How do they relate to completed work unit s in the old Seti Classic? Thanks!! Hope this didn't post twice, sorry if it did.

Check out this link for Recent Average Credit
http://homepage.mac.com/pauldbuck/site-common/glossary/letter-r.html#recent-average-credit

Paul Buck's BOINC guides are an excellent place to find answers for all the BOINC projects.

Simply Speaking, the two terms are exactly what they say.
Total credit= Your total credit earned in cobblestones.
Recent Average Credit = based upon a formula, it is an average of credit you have earned recently.
There is no relationship to credits of SETI Classic. It is based upon a measurement called a "Cobblestone" that measures the work your computer actually does. Not upon the number of work units.
