I got this message:
SETI@home - 2004-09-01 18:21:28 - Message from server: To participate in this project, you must use major version 4 of the BOINC core client. Your core client is major version 3.

After that I deattached seti project.
Then I tried to attach seti and I got the message, that BOINC failed to log on to http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/ and that I have to check my account ID and try later.

I tried several times and I did check my ID, it's correct, but I always get the same message: check ID.

Please help me.

I got a similar message with the numbers the other way round when I started up in version 4.05 after we were told to install it but before it was up and running (and I should really have still been using version 3.20). Once SETI went over to version 4, it worked fine. So, if you install version 4.05 and run that, you should be OK.
