Is there a way to set preferences so that something will happen; a sound, a freezing of the task, a flashing light, or whatever, when an anomaly is encountered? How will I know if I've found something?

I was sure there was a description of what would happen somewhere on the site here, but I can't find it for the life of me. ;-) Still? What happens, will I get credit or my computer? I understand the process of confirmation, will my copmuter let me know of an anomaly, or will I be notified in someway?
