Is there a way to set preferences so that something will happen; a sound, a freezing of the task, a flashing light, or whatever, when an anomaly is encountered? How will I know if I've found something?

I was sure there was a description of what would happen somewhere on the site here, but I can't find it for the life of me. ;-)

Anyway, the old description on the Classic boards is still accurate as well: Link.

Still? What happens, will I get credit or my computer? I understand the process of confirmation, will my copmuter let me know of an anomaly, or will I be notified in someway?

There is no instant gratification from this project. Interesting results are stored for later review and comparision with future scan of the same area of the sky to see if there really is a signal of interest. Don't expect a giant neon sign from ET even if they are out there.
