I have broadband but don't know how to set BOINC so that it always has a connection. Please help

In your account General preferences- Network usage
Confirm before connecting to Internet?
(matters only if you have a modem, ISDN or VPN connection) no
Disconnect when done?
(matters only if you have a modem, ISDN or VPN connection) no
Update the project in the Projects tab.

Your computer is hidden so I couldn't check what version of Boinc your using.

For V 5.4.9 in the Activity menu, you can select network activity based on preferences (to use above settings) or Nework activity always available (to overide the Network usage setting).

For V 5.2.x the options are in the Command menu.

Thanks for the reply, I've got to admit it's double dutch to me. I'm not that hot with computers, but I can follow direct instructions. I think I've disclosed my computer if you wish to try again.
