I have worked setiathome since about 2001. I have more than 20,000 hours of computer time and 500+ work units. I am near despair about getting this new system to even let me get new work, much less get credit for what i have done already. It is really unreasonably difficult. Can you help? I started at Miami University (in Ohio) under the email address schlosje@muohio.edu and name John. I later changed,(or thought that I did) to johnschlosser@juno.com and the name John Schlosser. My old password was 1662228658. I have taken some pains to persevere and strive on. Every move that I make spurns me and seems to say "Go away, asshole." Now this is as of MARCH, and will be updated when they get a chance after a lot of other things are done.

You machine has attached and downloaded it's first result. The last 30+ hours SETI had an outage, and right now with all the users trying to get in, things are being slow. It will take several hours for it all to straighten out.

Stick around, the science is important. The software is not meant to mircromanage. Did you micromanage the old software? Just set it and forget it.
