I know there is a thread on this but for some reason I cannot and to it.

The losing of credit from classic SETI is wrong. I know that the main aim of this is the search for signals but the competitive element created by the credits was important, and fun. This element is not so well promoted in BOINC which is a shame.

Give us back our credits, please.

You dont LOSE that credit, it is just not meaningful to add the two numbers together.

On you account pages ( http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/show_user.php?userid=243791, both SETI@Home BOINC and classic numbers are listed for everyone to see. Sure the number is now incorrect, but I have a feeling the admin will PORT the correct work unit tally when the classic system is finally shut down, giving everyone the right figures.
