XXV - 12/27/77 (Approx.) Christmas Upon the Eve of Christmas, the snow lay 'round about, Children sitting by the fire, ne'er a one will pout, Father sitting in his chair, telling all the story; Of Christ the Savior, long ago, in all of his fine glory. He tells of how, upon this night, the baby Christ was born, He was, by people all around, by many was adorn, The people came from lands around, bearing gifts were they; To see the baby Jesus Christ, lying in the hay. Three wise men, from the east they came, they traveled from afar, Bearing gifts, they brought with them, while following a star, The gifts of gold and frankincense and myrrh they brought to bear; Were laid before the baby Christ, lying silent there. Remember now, what father said, that every day you live, It's better not that you receive, but better that you give, So now my friends, the fire's low, and time to go to bed; For tomorrow will come none too soon, tonight has come to end.
