I saw a reference on anther thread to Boinc 3.20. I checked my version and it's 3.19 beta revision M1. Should I updgrade to 3.20 and if I do, is there a way to do it without losing all my work units? I didn't see anything about "installing over ..." or "first, uninstall ..." in the installation instructions.

Yes you should upgrade to 3.20.

You do not need to uninstall 3.19 before installing 3.20. You may wish to exit the program first, most of the time this is not necessary, but sometimes it is. You do not need to detach, or reset the project either.
