Hi all, At work I have access to some massive parallel systems. Has anyone got BOINC to work on these big machines? I downloaded the BOINC software for Solaris and when I try to start 'boincmgr' on a Sparc station, I get: % ./boincmgr ld.so.1: ./boincmgr: fatal: libexpat.so.0: open failed: No such file or directory Killed Suggestions? Hi all, Hi, I know zilch about Solaris, but with linux you can use the "ldd" command to check which shared libraries an executable needs to run. Maybe all you need to do is creating some symlinks that point to your existing libs. Regards Hans |

One would assume that you have full admin permissions on that system? Sounds basic but... Account frozen... |
