I have the old seti@home version 3.08 still running. Will the old version close itself on 12/15 and transfer my information (data units, total computer time...)to the new Bionc Version? Sorry for my confusion...Madelon

If you are asking if the process is automatic, the answer is no.

You will have to download the new BOINC software, set up your account via the website, install the software on your system, then attach to the SETI project (in that order).

Your SETI Classic work units will be transferred to your new BOINC account during step two. Note that your old SETI information will only be accurate as of March 15th, 2005. It will be updated again with the latest information once SETI Classic is closed down. You will not lose a single SETI work unit!

Hi,
I have noticed that the conversion system is currently broken for those that have forgotten the password to their classic account. The email subsystem is currently non-functional for your website, so I can't get my account key or password. Can one of the admins please fix this (or at least send the key to my old email address(imod@knology.net))?

Seti already knows your emaill address, you do not have to tell them.
