check my profile and see the the wickedist bridge on the planet Oh yeeeeeah That's a cool bridge - as bridges go :p Not sure about bungee jumping (too much of a 'fraidy cat) but I'd certainly abseil down it given half a chance. What's it called and where is it? Join TeamACC Sometimes I think we are alone in the universe, and sometimes I think we are not. In either case the idea is quite staggering. |

check my profile and see the the wickedist bridge on the planet Oh yeeeeeah At my age I'd have trouble just driving across it without a couple 'rest areas' along the way. That's a looooong one! |

the bridge is in france somewhere OK, I've found it (you've got to love google) The bridge, designed by Norman Foster, is 2.5km long, and at its highest point is 270m above the valley floor, which makes it higher than the Eiffel Tower, and the tallest bridge in the world. The roadway is supported on slender concrete columns, and is suspended from steel pylons. The result is both an engineering marvel and a work of exceptional beauty - a latter-day wonder of the world, that looks from a distance as though it's flying across the valley, carrying a roadway that seems so light as to be almost ethereal. That picture is a good one of the bridge there are loads more on the net that do it even more justice I seen some on the news a few month back and the cloud level was just under it and the bridge appeared to be floating in mid air Join us in Chat (see the forum) Click the Sig Join UBT |

I would! Anytime! Bungee jumping compared to BASE jumping is something different! Except the freefall time is too short! I used to do this in my 20' So I prefered jumping from planes for the freefall time, but I'll bungee also! Me: My old skydive t-shirt: Click the pics!
