Welcome to BOINC!

Most people on these boards speak english, so if you have a little knowledge of English, you might get more response if you ask your question in that language.

Greetings,
Sander

I could only read the topic title which means "Workunits download", but not the message itself. It's well known that the forum has problems with encoding.

@Gorec: try to express youself in plain English (whatever bad it is, don't worry, people here always try to understand), or contact me directly at broudkov (cat) rinet (dog) ru

OK, now it seems encoding problems are solved, and I can read the question.

For non-Russian speakers I'll translate the question in case you have the same problem.

The question is:
I'm using the latest BoincManager version!
Please tell me, if I can to download many packets at once yo proceed them offline, as it was in SETI Commander. Now it's not very handy to connect to Internet every time just to download a single packet! Maybe some plugin exists!
Please help!

The answer: On the top of this page you see dark-blue line with orange links. Press "Your Account" (probably you've already been there), and find the link "View or edit general preferences". Follow it and press the link "Edit preferences" below. Then at the "Network usage" section find the first setting "Connect to network about every ... days". This setting determines the number of workunits to be downloaded worth for N days of work (depending of your perfomance). Set this value to 2, 3 or 5 days (whatever is appropriate to you) and press "Update preferences" button below. You'll get desired number of workunits next time as BOINC client will connect the server to get more job.

В разделе "Network usage" ("Использование сети") первая настройка "Connect to network about every ... days" ("Соединяться с сетью каждые ...
