Id like to thank the people at Seti@home for keeping users abreast on what problems have been occuring the past few days.I know there has been alot of angry people.This is a great step in the right direction

I agree. Communication has improved within the last 24 hrs. I wonder if that had anything to do with the email I sent to most of the SETI ADMIN last night?

Actually, I sent them a rather POSITIVE email regarding the hard work they've been doing in order to get this transition done. Everyone appreciates a little praise for the work they've done.

I did mention the fact of a lack of communication on their part about (at least) the major events (ie. DB snapshot on 5/14 so people could've updated any info first and major news updates). When we are getting these "no work available," "no work from server," and "project is shut down" messages and then the SETI2 site is inaccessible, how are we supposed to know what's going on unless they COMMUNICATE with us? That was the gist of my email (the only one, I might add), so please don't jump to conclusions about what was stated in my correspondence to them. Thanks...
