Hello everyone.

I've been noticing a lot of negative posting on the forum in the last few days and I think it's time we had some circle time to try and deal with some of the issues that the group has been having.

I'd like to keep this positive but if you want to flame me that's ok. I can take it and it's important to express our negative feelings as well as our positive ones.

So I'll get the ball rolling.

One thing I like about the seti@home forum is....
...the interesting and special people from all over the world that post here.

Now it's your turn to share one thing that you like about the seti@home forum.

Oh Es99, I can't mention only one thing! So flame me for that!

I like the seti@home forum for ...

I have found friends here!

I have found people here, who are like family to me!

I have found people I can share my ideas with here!

I have had some very interesting discussions with some very knowing and intelligent people here!

I have found people I share my sense of humour with here!

I have got so many laughs by reading the posts here!

And as in all normal dysfunctional families, there has been a lot of fights also!

Next in line, your turn!

I like Cafe SETI because:

It's not overloaded with humorless Propeller Heads like almost every other forum on every other project.

I like Cafe SETI because...

I get to pick on a Vulcan, a Misfit, a Fuzzy Noodle, Dogbreath, a Lawyer, and have free coffee whilst I am doing it..

Ohhh we get to get Greybeard all excited...

This is a good start everyone. Give your selves a pat on the back. Thank you Kajunfisher for leading us in song. It's good to hear you do the singing for a change.

Now there must be more people out there who have something good to say about the set@home forum.

Not only is being a seti cruncher a great way to pick up chicks, I especially like the free pizza and beer awarded every 250 credits. Plus I can wear my old t-shirts and jeans and not have to worry about some silly old dress code.

I like SETI Forums because

1. I am a part of something bigger than myself.
2. I love the humor even my own.
3. My friends I have gotten to know from all over
the world.
4. I get to do some fun graphics for everyone.
5. When I am feeling bad I can always find someone here to talk too.

There is so much more But I'll leave it there for now...

The only place in the world you can come in, sit down and converse about well hung squirrels. I think I'm going to need more than beer if I gota listen to Kajunfisher, and look at Scarecrow's women. Hehe!

Ok... when I started I had 17369 credits, I've cashed some in and paid the pizza/bar tab up front, so dig in. And remember kids, if you eat all your pizza, and drink all your beer, someday you can grow up to be just like me!
(Heck, if nothing else I make a pretty good bad example)

But, "What's a Kumbaya?"
