Downloaded BOINC but it wont install!

It appears to unpack the setup package but then it seems to stop responding but its still running according to the task manager in XP. What do you guys think would be the problem? ID: 11246 ·

All i can suggest is kill off any running background tasks or programs before trying to install Boinc. The installer is due for a change to .msi system in future on windows, as the package used currently is very old. ID: 11295 ·
