	Have just converted to BOINC and understand about the classic credits being held over - not too stressed about that - provided they turn up - it is sort of nice to know how much you`ve done. But there is a screen called statistics in BOINC Manager, I had supposed that current & perhaps the first download of runs from SETI Classic might appear there. But it is empty appart from a little number appearing at the top of the screen by the Tasks Title. Am I missing something or have I discovered a Black Hole ? Second issue BOINC automaticaly daails up no problem, but every time it logs on then announces it deffered for 10 minutes waiting for response. I don`t use internet enough to make broadband worthwhile, is this a cunning plot to up my phone bill & make it viable ! Any thoughts chaps Cheers - Gordon Dyne ____________

From Boinc Wiki please bookmark "This feature requires three successful connections to each Project's Scheduler on three different days before it starts to work properly." 	The statistics do not show up until you have used Boinc attached to a project for at least 3 days and have gotten credit. Not claimed, but gotten it. The deferrance message is an automatic one, if all is well you should've contacted homebase before this time, it should show what it did, before it is saying Deferring communication with project for 10 minutes and 0 seconds. It's the standard deferral for everyone. It was silent, but has been put on lately to deliberately tell you you won't be able to make a further contact until you wait 10 minutes. It is done so no computer can swamp the server with continuous remote procedure calls (aka asking for work every 2 seconds, thereby swamping the server).
