my gosh, be patient... insulting the team will not help them

keep in mind that the team is running BOTH seti sites and the computers are running twice as many, if not more.

stop complaining and just wait like the rest of us

I try to save up wu's, but when the site is down for the 5th day in a row (no schedulers responding, system is down, no work available, etc, etc, etc) it's impossible to get ahead. Also, when I can crunch a wu in 3 to 5 hours, but the wu's that are sent have a completion time of 41 hours each, I don't receive enough to run for three days, much less a week. I have my cache set for 25 days but when 41 hour wu's are sent, I don't get enough.

I'm going back to classic until these people can get their act together, then maybe, MAYBE I'll try boinc'ing again. Also I can't view my statistics against others, can only view the top 1,000, can't join a team, that's disabled, can't view pending results, as that's disabled too, THIS PROJECT HAS NOT GONE THROUGH THE PROPER TESTING. PERIOD.

Don't set your cache for 25 days. WU deadlines are 2 weeks.

You can join a team. You just can't search for a team.

As for testing, we ran beta for a long time. The software has a few issues, but runs fairly well. It's the servers that are having trouble.

NOTICE! I did not ask such a question. My nephew was fooling around on my computer and thought he was funny but I caught him after I saw I had 3 messages and read them. I have been with SETI@home for almost 3 years an am quite happy being a part of it. He (my smart assed nephew) is now banned from having the use of my computer. So, any SETI staff who saw that foolishness, I apologize for his immaturity. When he realized he was caught it wasn't so funny,(His ass was grass and I was the lawnmower ;-) So is there anyway I can delete his foolishness? If so how? Cordially. Ronald C. Spencer

I don't believe there is a way to delete the message, but your reply sums it up nicely. Don't worry about it. :-)
