been getting a message when trying to send or receive projects saying it's doww. So here's the stupid question.. is it really down or is there something wrong with my settings?

When you get a message on the client saying the project is down it is. There is nothing wrong with your settings. However, there is news on the home page finally.

July 21, 2004
The log files are currently being compressed, after thats done the project should return to normal.

This means we should be back to "no work from project" soon.
