Hi Alex,
I saw a "V" formation one night, back in the '60s when I was about 14. My brother was with me and he saw them too. Been watching the skies ever since. I've seen things since, that were unidentifiable, but didn't see anything in the news. I saw something just the other day, during the day, that was shiny, winking in and out and moving irradically [as in not an airplane, helicopter, balloon etc]. Don't know what it was, it was too far away to make out any detail. >:-) (-:

That was about 40 years ago and the memory of details is rather fuzzy, but I'll try my best here to describe what we saw.

They weren't lights. They were flying at a low altitude. We actually saw objects, round if I remember right, and 5 of them in a "V" formation. You've seen an airplane at low altitude at night, right. These objects looked like that, but without any lights at all. No wings, no tail, no markings at all. We only saw them for about 5 seconds or so. They went over very fast.

I'll see if my brother can remember anything that I cannot. If he does I will let you know more. Oh, this happened in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and I understand that sightings are plentiful in Wisconsin. I'm not in Wisconsin any more, I'm in southern California. >:-) (-:

Oh, this happened in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and I understand that sightings are plentiful in Wisconsin.

Americans are lucky that way. UFO sightings rise statistically in areas with state-of-the-art military installations. Same goes for other military activity or wars. However, I think it's safe to assume that many of the sightings near these installations are military themselves, testing new futuristic airplanes.

Here in this country, we seldom see anything interesting. We have nothing to see, probably. :( Not that I want a war to come to Norway though - or any other place for that matter. But it'd be nice if the aliens could come over here just once in a while and visit us too. LOL!

It's funny you mention about the military. My brother was telling me about an incedent that happened quite a while back. Had something to do with missile silos, and a UFO presence. Seems that the "aliens" were able to interface with the computers and modify launch codes and such. I'll have to ask my brother about it again and reply later. But, I guess it was a rather scary situation for the humans involved. >:-| |-:

....
Yeh, mine were not long ago about seven years, they were amber in color like those sodium (?) street lights and there seven in that "V" formation.
It was crystal clear out that night, which was why I was looking up.
It was almost a flash that they went by over the mountains outside town, which here is not hard to do. I'm in Montana.
We have an airport near here but w/out clouds the spinning tower signal-light theory falls apart faster.
They were absolutely silent...of course judging distances at night, let alone during the day here is a bit tough. They only seemed over the mountains.
It'slike when we watched the persieds one year here and saw a meteor explode into blue, green and white like a firework, it only seemed out over the mountains in the distance.

None the less it was cool.

Friends here have seen other things.

Military bases are not near, here but we do have them in the state. And like I've said distances here are a bit funny to determine.

Alex:)>

Well, I just got done talking with my brother on the phone and he remembers even less than I do. He had bad eyesight back then and wouldn't let our parents know about it. Anyway, he thought the objects were brighter lights, but I remember them as dull, sort of greyish in color and only being lit by the ambient light from the city. >:-) (-:

@CA: I've heard rumors about this woman... who is she? :)
