Both Einstien and Seti are requesting 0 seconds, Einstein uploaded the last work unit 04.23am UK time (7 1/2 hours ago) Seti has 1 work unit awaiting upload, failed upload started at 04.50, is there a problem with boinc? |

Both Einstien and Seti are requesting 0 seconds, Einstein uploaded the last work unit 04.23am UK time (7 1/2 hours ago) Seti has 1 work unit awaiting upload, failed upload started at 04.50, is there a problem with boinc? Most likely it has to do with the long term debt and is normal for later versions of BOINC like 4.45. You can get around it somewhat by suspending all but one program and that will force a download and then resuming them all. There is an issue regarding WU's that are waiting for upload being counted towards the work load also. BOINC will balance out over time however and with multiple projects, you should never be out of work. Seti also is coming off of a week long outage so everything on Seti is extremely slow as everyone is trying to connect at the same time. The Number Crunching forum is a better place for this type of question as there are many over there that can help you out. Hope this helps some :) To truly explore, one must keep an open mind... |
