I am still using 3.19

is it worth upgrading right now??? Will it abort the wu's I have in queue??

If you are crunching also P&H' WU, you MUST upgrade to BOINC 3.20 now or you will be unable to receive P&H WU.

For S&H, is still optional, but it's not very long to do. Just stop BOINC, install the new version without uninstalling the oldest version & restart BOINC. You will not lost your WU in your cache.

If I was you I would wait as long as possible to upgrade.
It may just be me, but 3.20 is VERY unstable. I often have to restart it if I want to "update" seti or predictor. The option simply stops functioning after a while.
Now it won't display the scroll bar in the messages window...
Whats next?
That doesn't include the usual gripes that boinc had slready...

resetting preferences
poor guessing of wu competion time (23 hours estimated - 4 hours complete...)
Poor downloading of amounts of WU (prefs set to 1.5-5) and I get 24 hours at absolute max)

Frankly, unless predictor/seti/boinc get there act together, I will probably go elsewhere..

Hi Grant and thanks for the info. I would say dont get frustrated as I like this new boinc compared to seti classic. Maybe remove your 3.2 and go back to 3.19 if you can. I will see if I still have 3.19 or not

the wu calculation is a purposefull one....

to keep people from getting too many wu's until things gets settled... if you want more, than just set your pref's to higher number -- I have between 5 and 7 days.
