Message 145513 - Posted: 1 Aug 2005, 1:41:20 UTC - in response to Message 145497.

I promise I won't waste any more unless someone says it was earlier than '82 ;-)

(there's plenty more in the fridge, help yourself) :-)

'82?? That's when I was BORN!!!!

Ok, but to add my complaint, I have a boyfriend but he lives 400 km away from me. To make things even MORE fun, right now he's in Italy (complaining about the heat, of course) while I'm stuck here in Ottawa...

Not as bad as some of you (Siran, I feel for you, man), but for a 23 year old female, this bites.

Who's feeling sorry for themselves? You, by the wall, are you? How about you, in that chair? Hey, you, over there by the fridge, are you? I'm not. I live the life of my own choosing. I'm happy not having a proverbial "ball and chain".

No offense Fuzzy, but I don't believe anyone here is feeling sorry for themselves. >:-)

Nope. Not feeling sorry for myself or drinking to drown my sorrows. Stone cold sober as a matter of fact. I'm just stating facts. Sometimes I wish life had dealt me a different hand but I try to make the best of the one I was dealt.

You certainly make it sound like you are crying down in your beer! Be careful with that, BTW, it makes it salty! ;-)

Hmmm... on the other hand, some extra salt might lighten up the hangovers! Ok, go ahead then!

My grandfather used to put a pinch of salt in his beer. He liked a nice layer of foam on top.

@ Fuzzy: It's only my 3rd beer and that'll be it for the night. ;-)

I think the only one really feeling sorry for themself was megaman.

@ eberndl: I know it sucks when your apart like that, but makes it special is when you see each other again...seems more exciting... :-)

@ Siran: Hopefully we can all live the life of our own choosing, and everyone respect the fact that it is "our own choosing".

(if you can't remember your last hangover does that mean that you drank too much?)

>>>>I haven't had a girlfriend of ANY kind since '82

Any man who decrees his celebate state
As some form of unquestionable condition
Either has no sense of smell or
Is addicted to Thumbzilla.

There are magnificent women
Or men, if that's what you like-
Absolutely
Everywhere you look

The idea of bragging about how long it's been
Is so pathetic,
It's goddamn hysterical

Look around
They're everywhere!

Fortune DOES smile- now and then
But only for those willing to partake
And enjoy

Good luck...cc

My last hangover was in 1980. That was also the last time I was ever drunk.... A longer story goes along with that.... >:-)

Deleted because of the stupidity....

IF you had bothered to read the WHOLE thread you would know that I stated it was by choice. Now shut the hell up and go find a rock to crawl back under.... >:-(

[EDIT]
And, just for your information, since you seem to value everything I say, I said I hadn't had a girlfriend since '82, not sex.... Now go away....

I agree with you on this, Carl! I have met karmic friends the most weird places! I have been with the right people the right time in the right situation! I have even had one, who came to me right in my own home! And they all had something to teach me somehow or the other!

If you keep an open mind and dare to enter into situations, you can find people, where you are! The Universe brings us together somehow, and all we need is to open our hearts.

This has been an issue for myself though, but I'm working on it! Not to meet people, because I do, but to trust them and believe them. So I'm sure the Universe will provide for me some way or the other!

Wait with your options open
And ooop-

Yeah, most of the time...

Yeah, and you would think he would take a cue from the fact his butt buddy, from Alaska, hasn't been here for a month. Doesn't get the clue, I presume.... >:-)

I know exactly what you mean, Carl! Sometimes I had to look twice though!

But things in my life has given me scars in my soul, so the problem is not meeting, it's staying there!

But I appreciate every one for teaching me something about life and myself, so nothing has been wasted! That's the important thing: To be happy with what you get, whatever it is!

Vulcan-
Sorry to have offended you by responding to your post
Against your explicit order
But I truly feel
Though you may think otherwise
That you have no authority here
To silence me

You may continue to discount whatever I may write
And that's fine with me

But hey Vulcan-
Just listen to yourself...cc
