Taken from here!

As for my comment to Fuzzy, yes we're on the same team, and yes, we do protect each other's backs, but me telling her to ignore it if she doesn't like it is something she's already said she was planning to do. Me saying to just stay away from it makes it all the easier for her to ignore it.

If you (Fuzzy) are offended by that comment PLEASE tell me, either here (in a different thread cause I'm taking my own advice) or on the team board and we'll resolve it.

Ok, I'm off for the day...

@eberndl: I'm staying out of this. Yes, I have that person on Ignore, so I don't see any of his posts. I only pointed out to Heffed, that he might not be that newcomer, he (Heffed) sees him as.

I think I already have stated my view on religion here, and people who know me, know my views on that. I don't wear my faith as a piece of jewellery, so I don't care how other people see me. For me, my faith is a very private matter between my God and me.

What I don't like is people coming here and post statements that are not their own, or quotes from different sources without any explanation of why they are used. Quotes taken out of context can be used to prove or say anything! I also remember how WordWeaver (Yes, I know we agreed on never mention that alias again here, but eberndl may not know who WW is, so I use the whole alias here! Flame me for it, if any of you want to!) posted endless quotes from his bible, all taken out of context. So, when I saw that first post with all these quotes about this and that from different sources, I could only think that this is a new WW. And when I saw on his website, that he "observe", I took it as a person who has lurked here for some time, and now suddenly was fishing for some attention.

I don't like people, who want to throw their oppinions in my throat, even they use other people's words. WW did that, and I have seen others after him doing the same here. I have seen a lot on this board, so I think I'm qualified to state my oppinion on this.

Yes, people are allowed to state their oppinions, and so am I! If I don't bother to read some people's oppinions, I either ignore them, or directly put them on Ignore! I did this on the person in question here after his first two posts, and I don't see any reasons to enter any discussions about his points of views, as I'm not interested! But others can do what they want, it's not my business, which I never have said it is!

And, eberndl, I think the world of you! I admire your intelligence, your wit, your readiness to help, and not least, your patience! I could never do what you do! And I feel so proud of you being chosen to contribute to the BOINC Wiki, which, in my view, reflect credit on us all over at the Biggest Little Team! :-)

Lizz has the patience to request, stay and answer people's questions on other forums that I am not a regular at, including most project's Q&A forums. I just had to ask Paul if she would make a good entry on the Wiki team. It was all over within 30 minutes. ;)

But with Lizz, Jim Blaize and Walt Gribben also joined the team.
(Sorry to shortly hijack your thread, Fuzzter. I'm off it already ;))

It's Ok, Ageless! :-) It was because Lizz said, she wouldn't go back to that thread in question.

But I'm still so damn proud of both of you, you and Lizz! :-D

First of all I'm a liar, cause I didn't stay off the boards.

I'm glad you (Fuzzy) understood what I meant and I'm once again humbled by both your and Jord's support for me. Thank you

I'm also amazed that there's a thread all about me me me

***Please excuse my intrusion here.****

I am female, and I know that BOTD is clean, I just don't like the idea of judging crunchers solely on their user pics. I personally find slightly tasteless, but I don't mind that it's on the board. I'm not going to have a huge spat and try to get it closed, and I don't mind that other people enjoy it. I just don't think it's worth my time (and yes, I HAVE looked at it before I judged it).

I just thought I'd let you know that I have always had one objection about BOTD. The fact that about 98% of those chosen for BOTD are not BOINC/SETI crunchers and some aren't even "Classic" crunchers. I have always felt that a prerequisite would be that they be BOINC crunchers or at the very least, "Classic" crunchers.

And, I'm sorry if I have offended you in the ".... Taken" thread. It wasn't my intention.... >:-)

@eberndl: I respect your opinion, your desire & patience to help others. It's nice having more than one intelligent woman (Fuzzy) here on the boards. :-)

Thank you Keith. :)

But I would say it's for all of us crunching Seti or any other project through Boinc. It sounds like crunching your way through Boinc. With all the ups and downs. :-D
