I have set my preferences to keep work for 4.6 - 5 days (I have just double checked). However, it seems only about 7 - 8 WU:s are actually kept in my local queue, which is processed in less than 1½ days.

Are WU:s somehow rationed now, or is there any other likely explanation?

[Edit] Right, now some complementing information:
In my local queue there are now 8 WU:s pending. Two of them have a projected time to completion of 37:40:14, and the remaining six 6:16:43. Usually the computing time ranges around 4 hours - so what's the matter/math?? [end edit]

this is VERY normal right now. be patient until things catch up.
And yes, some people think they are rationing (thats why the longer expected times - but it takes normal time to process)

just be patient!!

Credit is granted for a WU when 3 results has been returned.

At the front page there is the following message:
"A server bug was preventing new results from being created in response to failed results. If 2 out of 3 results for a WU succeeded and the 3rd failed, the 2 successful results would not be validated or credited. This is now fixed and the system will issue new results for all workunits in this state."

Some 7 days ago, and this for something like 3 days, WU's has been send out with an "abnormal" estimated processing time of some 24 hours. If for these WU's no 3 valid results has been returned, these same WU's will be send out again in order to get 3 valid results.

You will very probably see that the one with long estimated processing time that you have in your queue have the extension _3 or _4. These last numbers indicate how much times the WU has been send out (it is starting at _0).

Greetings from Belgium.
