Hi

I have downloaded the Boinic Mangaer and have created a new project

I cannot seem to get anywhere with downloading anything nor as the messages i am receiving are:

Can any one help me? I do have a firewall but port 80 is open!

I believe you or your host should only give BOINC a little bit more time. ;)

You are not allowed to connect the scheduler server more often then every 10 minutes and and the messages show that you are connecting in a faster interval.

There is no problem with your firewall, the communication is working.

If you hit the update button, then stop it and wait.

If you host clock is going so much to fast this is a problem. As "work around" you can suspend BOINC for 15 Minutes and then continue. But you will get this problem again in the future. The server will block you 10 minutes and not 9 or 8 minutes.

Rippo, When the server has been down for an extended time and then comes back up, it takes a couple of days for the backlog to go down and a lot of people sit at their boxes hitting the update button and this just slows the process even more, so be patient the WUs will come sOON....
