The priority of media coverage sometimes seem a bit strange to me.

So let me send my thoughts to the casualties and their loved ones of the terror attack in Tyrkey this weekend

That's why I use foreign (for an American) news sources like the BBC, etc.

Danish media talk about the London attack all the time - and mentioned the Tyrkey attack only once

Bruno it's not about priorities as you and I would know them. It's all about what sells. I don't agree with this, but it is fact.

Lets put this into a different perspective.

London is on the A list for the 2012 Olympics
Turkey is out of most peoples minds..

The UK is the host for the G8 Summit
Turkey is the perceived host for Bin Laden

The UK is a major US backer in the War on Terrorism.
Turkey is trying to stay out of it..

London gets bombed
Turkey gets bombed

London is the bigger news, SELLS more commercials, newpapers, etc, etc
-----

May the spirits of those innocents that died in these acts of cowardest find their way home. I will keep to myself what I think should happen to the dishonorable ones..

I'd rather speak my mind because it hurts too much to bite my tongue.

I found little that isn't skewed to one side or another and usually I have to read both sides to find the actual facts buried somewhere in the middle of the spin on both sides. As far as I'm concerned from viewing many stories over the years, the foriegn media spins and interjects the reporter's bias and interpretations into news reports just as much as the US media does.

To truly explore, one must keep an open mind...
