My classic seti used to just sit and hum all day, every day...

Since I've started switching machines over to boinc, they sit there saying "no scheduler responded" all day every day (although I did get some wu's at one point now it's been trying to upload them for 2 days).

What's going on with Boinc? I've seen these problems before which is one reason I never switched from classic to boinc. Now it seems as bad or worse than ever.

Did you try, using the command prompt

tracert setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu

to see what is the result of it?

It should end with something similar to following:

7 21 ms 13 ms 13 ms p14-0.core01.lon02.atlas.cogentco.com [130.117.1.101]
8 102 ms 90 ms 88 ms p10-0.core01.bos01.atlas.cogentco.com [130.117.0.46]
