Since installing Norton Internet Security 2005, I have been unable to connect to the server to get new work units. I have gone through the firewall program configuration and added the Seti@home program to the list as well, of course, as permit it to communicate, yet still can't transfer data. Symantec has nothing on it's site that helps out. Anyone got any ideas about this? |

BOINC.exe needs access to the internet on http port 80. It needs to act as a server to the local host loopback address (or possibly the LAN) on ports 1043 and 31416. BOINCMgr.exe needs to access the loopback address (or possibly the LAN) on ports 1043 and 31416. BOINC WIKI |
