I know
1) the numbers are approx
2) there is a large influx of new WU's after the outage ...

but
at 00:10 UT there were 526,167 WU to validate.
at 01:00 UT there were 522,153 WU to validate.

do the math ...

Actually the numbers are accurate. Since the queries were pretty zippy on the faster db server, we stopped doing approximate counts. They may be 30 minutes out of date though (we only do the count once every 30 minutes).

Good job, guys! Thanks to everyone who have worked hard to resolve the problems and those who have bitched hard to keep the waiting time entertaining.

Ok, Validator is green as all other markers also.
Still no up-/downloads possible, see here, top left :/
The graph looks more suspicious than before. There is something other broken. Maybe it's again the cogent link. Well, smells like a looong free weekend coming...
Aloha, Uli

Somebody should publish how to read these graphs. http://fragment1.berkeley.edu/~cricket/inr-668-interfaces.html

The spike of errors is self-evident and occurs about when the up/downloads started failing. But what is the rest of this.

Also, who named these things: gigabite??? Any geek knows its gigabyte!

Maybe a link to the comm-status should be on the home page since errors occur so often.

You never heard of Gigabits and Ethernet then?

Go read it again. It says Gigabitethernet. Spelled out that's Gigabit-Ethernet.
Or a 1000Mbit Ethernet connection.

With a long weekend coming up... I prefer a non-running validator over not being able to up- or download workunits.

Anyone else noticed the graph lost its dots the last hour?
