If boinc is the future of seti, with no stats, lost work unit credits, bad connections, etc... I feel sorry for all those who put in many years of work to make seti the number 1 in distributed computing.

IMHO - boinc is not a step forward. I will end up throwing away 4 years and 13 897 WUs in frustration.

I have not lost any credits, there are plenty of stats available (more than SETI Classic), and bad connections abounded in SETI Classic at the beginning. Take some time to read up on SETI BOINC, there is plenty of information available.
