My system keeps getting this message.

Then it schedules to try again in a few hours.
It's been happening all night.

I don't know what's going on either. I can't upload my wu's nor download new work. I remember a post in the old SETI forum saying that "if there's something more bugged tha SETI, it's BOINC", or something like that. Seems they were right.

there is a problem (obviously) with either the network or servers.

Remember that seti classic apparently had as many growing pains when it started.

It is recommended that you sign up for another project, so that you don't waste your CPU cycles if Seti is unreachable.

Server status
At this time SETI@home has 12 Server down out of 16, go to this page Server status page or the is link http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_status.html to see the Server status page

I have the same problem that http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/cgi is unreachable.

The machine setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu is up but there is no WebServer on Port 80 responding.

But the Server-Status-Site (http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_status.html) says that all Services are running. But there is no info aboute the setiboincdata.ssl.berkeley.edu-machine.

I hope someone can fix this...

I changed to BOINC couple days ago and haven't been able to upload workunit ever since. Like some of you I also get following problems:

Funny thing, I attached in the mean time to climateprediction research and I had problems also there and I couldn't download any work units. Next day I was surprised to find out that they both were (and still are working). I have now complited some setiathome WUs and my first climateprediction unit is 1,69% complited (they are bit bigger than seti units)

You're not alone. I can't upload the work completed. However, I am still able to download work. Plus, like others, my credits haven't changed for about 5 days. Here's hoping all is worked out soon :-)
